Eco- Fashion

Since it was realized that our clothes actually harm the earth, fashion designers have started making organic clothes. These clothes are made from cotton grown naturally without pesticides and silk made by worms fed on organic trees. They are also not bleached, because bleach and other colour textiles are harmful to the earth... and people! Surprsingly, they can actually still make stylish and glamorous clothes from second hand material and even plastic bottles. The bonus is also that these clothes last longer than regular clothes.

If that hasn't convinced you to switch to organic clothes, then maybe this will! Emma Watson has teamed up with "People Tree", an organic and fairtrade clothing company, and she has designed a whole line of clothes for young people. All the clothes are made from organic cotton, free of pesticides and other chemicals harmful to the earth. Check out the website
www.peopletree.co.uk  and you will find tonnes of stylish organic clothes! Another celebrity turning to green clothes is Selena Gomez. She will be designing a line of organic clothes, sure to be stylish! Her line will be called "Dream out Loud".  Sneak previews of the line have shown it will be very boho chic, and it will most likely sell at department stores. It's due for release in Autumn... and I personally can't wait! Aswell as these celeb clothes lines, a lot of popular clothing shops, for instance Awear and H&M, are going green too. So look out for organic clothes in stores now!
