Why Go Organic?
Not a lot of people give much thought to where the food they are eating comes from, or where it was produced. The majority of goods produced on farms etc. are not produced organically, which means that the farmers who produce them are using harmful chemicals and fertilisers which damage the soil and pollute the earth. Organic foods are produced in a much more eco-friendly manner by only natural means. They cause virtually no damage to the earth.
Another thing most people tend not to think about is where the food they are buying comes from. Food products that have been imported from other countries are having a severe impact on the environment. The damage caused by planes which are transporting food products is extremely high every year, which means that a lot of the foods in your cupboard right now have very high carbon footprints, and have caused a lot of damage to the earth. Buying products which are produced in Ireland is a much better idea, as these products will not have had to travel vast distances to get to the supermarkets they are sold in. This recipe tells you how to make delicious brownies which are organic, AND all of the ingredients are sourced in Ireland which makes these brownies really really eco- friendly! (and  yummy, of course!)
